Sharing my life the way I live it
Correct me if I’m wrong
I’ve attended Carlo’s seminar today. He was the speaker and his topic was about “Time Managementâ€. Our plate is full today, we had a dental appointment at Dr. Klump’s office then around 10 we went here on base (I’m in the base right now).
While my husband tackled his topic, at some point (and somehow), the term “do things right in the right way†hit me. Why? It’s because I myself practiced some (not all the time but I do sometimes) ‘manyana†habit. The one that we called “mamaya naâ€. And I do entertain destructors when I’m doing something, no matter how busy I am, when my CSI Miami or Cold Case is on, I paused everything just to watch these shows. It’s probably because I’m just staying at home and I’m only working part time with my sidelines. I don’t know, this is just probably one of my lame excuses.
My lecturer continued with his lecture and said that schedule and priority is a must. Prioritizing the tasks from A as the most important, B as lesser and C as the unimportant can lead to an 80% productivity. Everything he lectured and shared are all I can see and noticed of him. Being his wife, I know how dedicated he is towards his school, his family and his job.
He is so disciplined and doesn’t let any workloads to pile on his desk. I admire this attitude so much. His everyday routine when he comes home is quick rest (5 minutes) – study and do his school works (2 to 3 hours) and bedtime. Our family time is that I spend time with him in our office and in between his study time, we watch TV shows or drive for 10 to 30 minutes. No matter how redundant it may seem but he’s enjoying every bit of it.
I can’t remember that he gets late on his school paper works, not even in his office works. That’s why his lecture today inspired me and had corrected my habit. I was just a visitor of that seminar (I went with him to listen to the uhmm, and ah –some speech errors so we can correct it later on), I didn’t know that I have so much to learn. With regards to his uhmm’s nor ah’s, he didn’t have any, I’m proud to say that.
Love you hubby, it was a great experience.
