It all started from scratch. My first lesson to Chris was all about reading. When my only goal was for him to at least know how to read which is the very basic of education.The following year,his father asked me to have him learn more than his reading lesson by teaching him the basic survival skills.That time,in my mind was a big question mark on how can I ever fulfill that. I have no background on how to teach a special child esp. with regards to SPED or Special Education. And so I invented my own curriculum, made my very own unique lesson planning but still in my mind is a big question mark on how I can make things possible for Chris.

I have already shared here how tedious it has become for us the shoe-lacing session. His mood would really shift like already wanting to give up the entire tutorial session. It was tough. And I even cried out of empathy. If I were him, I wonder if I would react the same way or would I be violent because it’s really hard! Sometimes I would forget that he is a special child that I would really impose him the responsibility to really learn the lesson and would even have my voice raised though unconsciously.I swear, there were couple of times when I felt quitting for I can no longer bear the thought of seeing him having a hard time on ordinary task. He has become a part of me.

I have learned to understand and appreciate even more the gift of God to mankind which is love and concern for humanity through Chris. But still at the end of our struggle during the learning process, his smile, innocence and sweetness ease away my tension. Chris’ simple gestures of kindness always makes me wanna go on and have the positive outlook even when things seem vague and clueless.

1. At what age do you wish to marry?
I’m already married, got married at the age of 26.

2. What color do you like most?
I’m a pink baby, I LOVE pink.

3. If you have the chance, what would you probably say to your beloved?
I love you, thanks for making me happy.

4. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
France, I dream of having a vacation in that place one day.

5. Which part of you that you hate the most?
Giving trust easily. It should be earned and not given..but I can’t help it, that’s just how I am. Though when that person breaks it, it will also take a lot of effort for him/her to regain my trust. I am a ‘once is enough’ person.

6. When you encounter a sad moment, what would you do?
Cry if it really hit me hard and then later on try to regain back my composure.

7. What are you afraid to lose the most?
People that I love.

9. If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
I’m a straight forward so I did told him but of course after he confess his feelings on me first . He’s my husband now.

Witch..you are -> Carefree, Seductive and Smart..that’s what I noticed on her blog. And Avee, we haven’t had any bonding moment yet I know you’re a good person .

11. Till now, what is the moment that you regret the most?
Busy preparing for the future and haven’t had the time to visit my lolo(grandpa). T’was too late when I gave time, he was already sick and after a month..he died ..that was the most painful moment of my life. Though my intention of preparing for the future was also for them, it didn’t serve its purpose..he’s already gone and no matter how I cried, time is already up. It took me a year to recover, if only I could turn back time…. Yeah it gave me lessons but lessons weren’t enough, he’s already gone. I know he would be sad knowing that this is how I feel until now but God knows how I miss him .. Kaya whoever can read this, don’t let any day pass by without letting your loved one knew that you love them…even with your busy schedule, give them your time too.

12. Which type of person do you hate the most?
Backstabber, they have nothing to do but cause trouble.

13. What is your ambition?
Get my career going here in the States, start a biz in the Phils and when we’re stable, go back to the Phils and retire .

14. If you had one wish what would you wish for?
Good health for loved ones.

15. How would you celebrate new year?
Our ’08 New Year eve was fun. It was my first new year with hubby (just got married) and it was my first time to be a chef este cook pala..hehehe.

16. Name one of your body part your hubby or boyfriend tells you he adores. I’ll leave it up to your imagination. I don’t kiss and tell.

17. It would be 2008 in a few days, do you have a new year’s resolution?
I believe that it doesn’t need to change the year to have a resolution, I always run a self checking and if I think I’m leading into the wrong way, I change gear and tried living the right way. I’m open for criticism and change.

18. What do you look forward to in 2008?
Get the career going, continue schooling and watching Tom Brady run his football team in stadium.

19. What are you thinking now?
I’m thinking on how to answer this question .

Tag from witchy

The three things I’m into right now are the following:

First is Being online ~ Can’t live without the internet. It’s not just blogging but I do a lot of research and readings in the internet. This is my way of connecting to my loved ones way back home.

Second is  Shopping ~ Lalo na winter clothes. I’ve got none when I went here in the States, saon wala baya tay tugnaw sa atoa. The clothes that I usually have are my most comfy clothes..shorts, sleeveless shirt, tubetop, backless..lahat ng pang anti-init. I only have around 7 shirts na merong sleeve kaya naman when winter came, lagot si ako.

And the last on my list is Cooking ~ First time wife, first time taong bahay..that’s why I’m experimenting everything. I have no experience in ‘real’ cooking when I was single tapos biglang naging hands-on wife. It was hard on my first few months but I get along after..

I’m so tired today. I went to the base with hubby around 7am, he has another christmas party and a going away party for Mia. I had an hour of work out then after that I went to my husband’s office as we need to cook lumpia. They love lumpia here so that was the one that I and hubby prepared. The party started at 10am and it ended around 1pm.

I went to bx (Airbase mall) along with Handan and Ofelia and their kids. We went shopping for a little bit. Bx is having a 75% off on some of their products. Handan surprised me by buying a basket of beautiful flowers. I didn’t know that she’ll give it to me, after she paid for it..she handed it to me and said ‘this is for you’. Ahh that was so sweet of her. Thanks Handan. By the way, we bought this coasters, it as on sale for 75% off. So instead of paying $15, we only paid $3.50. Nice huh?

Later on we went to the town and did more shopping. We roamed around and Handan and Ofelia were helping me find and choose gifts for my hubby. They’re really so helpful especially Handan. I’ll go back to the store in the next few days to buy those. I saw signature purses and bags and its on sale for half the price. Hmmm, I’ll buy me one too. By the way, I bought me fur coats and jackets.

After shopping we then went to the coffee shop in hastings to warm up. After awhile, Handan drop me off here in my house. I am tired right now but it was fun. I love hanging out with Handan and Ofelia. We may have been a mixed culture (Handan is from Turkey, Ofelia is from Guatemala and I’m from Philippines) but we blended well. They are so nice and thanks to them for being my friends.

mao ni ang mga ebedensiya nga perte namo kaadik og digicam..hehehe, bitaw uy..I miss these girls. We laugh and cry together unya miagi pud mi og trials sa friendship but in the end, friends japon mi. Ana man jud na ang life ..maong di ko kalimot nila .

pa-kyut sa camera, buntag pa man ni nya si deding paadto sa iya skul..ninghapit ra gud kadal isa ofis og nagpakodak mi..hehehe

bisag gisingot hala pose gihapon.. mga 5pm na ni or 6pm, pagkahuman jud sa work..ningbirada na pud mi sa digicam.

date mi ni evz sa blugre..this is after work..valentines yata ni nya wa man mi date, kami na lang duha. kakita mi og cute sa cafe pero kay naa na man ko carlo..hehe. naliba nako ang laki sa akong hair..saon bag-ong hair spa kang leah..nya backless pa jud ko ani..di libat libat siya. pero liba lagi kay bag-o gud hair spa.

uban ming sheng nangaon sa GS Mall nya si Nelle ningkuha ani among pic from his celfon. bag-o man gud to iyaha fon nya among gi-testingan ni sheng.

Shine with Grace : Mixing the word ‘from’ with ‘form’ all the time.

Trinity : I sometimes feel confused to use past tense or present tense when I share my stories.

LadyJava : Typing too fast that sometimes I miss words in between.

Genie King : I type too fast too… always end up with ‘tot he’… when it should be ‘to the’.

Spiff : I type too fast that I end up with sentences that have no spaceinbetween… LOL!

Nessa : Mostly grammatical mistakes… but it doesn’t really bother me as long as my readers understand

Liza : I type too fast too that’s why sometimes my spellings are wrongf… see. Lol And same with Grace, mixing the word from and form at times. (I’ll be posting this tag to my other blog too.)

Nancy: I’m always trying to use every function of my fingers but can’t really help but slip which resulted to pressing the wrong key most of the time.

Darlene: I always made a mistake by typing HELATH instead of HEALTH. Sometime the FOR is FOT because the R and the T are very close to each other lol! Anyway i always do mistakes when i type, everybody does i guess no matter how good you are in typing you always make some mistakes.

Bisdak Footprints: I usually have wrong typo when I am in a hurry typing entries during PPP time because need to be fast so I can grab as many opps as I can.For that,wrong typo making my english look worse to others.They read it before I can do some editing..they might think my english is so bad..ahhermmm…but i edit it anyways…

Pinaymama: I always have errors in between words of my typing and also I’m used to type text messages lingo, and where to put this comma—>, LOL!

Dabawenya Babe – Not a techie writer here and I usually mixed my past tense and the present tense (lol). Also, the texting (short lingo) made the worse to WORST. But I think I’m doing better now, I’m not much into texting .
