YESSSSSSSSSS!!

My New England won the game today (and hey it’s play-off’s time). Sooo Happy :D . Congrats to them. I watch the first half but on the second half I wasn’t able to as we went out to eat. When we’re back here in our hotel (we’re out of town right now), it was last 2 minutes on the 4th quarter. So happy to look at the score 31-20, with Patriots getting the lead.

Ahhhh..I love this team :D .

12 30th, 2007

We’re going to watch a sun bowl tomorrow and I am HELLA excited :) . Yep, I’ve been crazy with football since the first 2007 month it kicked off. I’m a fan of New England, USC, West Virginia and LSU. I used to like Dallas because of Romo but then I fell inlove with Tom Brady, he knows how to play his game. Plus he has good teammates..that’s why they’re number 1 :) .

And right now, my ultimate football dream is to watch the Patriots game live in the stadium. I want to watch NBA too hence my brother is really begging me to watch any NBA games. I told him I will but just give me time, I and hubby are planning to watch one in CA.

So anyway, we were shopping for my winter clothes this past few weeks. Hubby was telling me to wear 3 layers of clothes so I don’t get sick from the weather. We’ll be in an open stadium tomorrow and I just checked the weather, the highest would be 58F and 25F as the lowest, yikes…that is cold.

I’m going to take an off again from blogging tomorrow and I have my digi-baby with me so I can share pics with you.

New England won by chance

Tom BradyBetcha by golly WOW, New England won the game tonight. They won by chance..that’s true. They’re losing since the start of the game, the receivers can’t catch the ball, Brady always throws INCOMPLETE pass and to top it all he was SACKED. But I guess they brought them a whole bunch of good luck, around 2 + minutes (or less I think); Brady was sacked again BUT before that happened..in only split seconds..somebody in the Raven’s bench called a time out.

YIKES??!! This gave my team a chance to run the ball again. I can see that the Raven players were so upset and frustrated with the call. And I can see why, they’re eating my team alive. Ravens has a good defense, its superb. So anyway, that uncalled timeout lead my team to win. When they get back from after the timeout, Ravens committed a 5 yard penalty (holding) which gives my team a 1st and goal hehe :) .

Whew, it took two passes from Brady to get a touchdown. The first pass was a bad one then the second one made it. My guess is that it’s the weather that makes my team vulnerable, Carlo was even saying how come the Raves can run the ball without freezing? And I told him, well look at the body type..they’re HUGE compared to NE players.

I reminded him that during the time when he used to weigh 200+lbs he doesn’t get cold/shiver right away, he even likes 70F temp and below but when he losses 20lbs he shivers and gets cold right away. Who could ever run the ball or catch it perfectly with a 30 below temperature. Baltimore even has gusty wind during the game. In conclusion, NE team needs to practice in a colder temperature so as to get used to it :D .

Whatta game!!!

Let’s talk about sports

The lost of Indianapolis Colts today came to me by surprise, I’m used to watch them beating other teams (except for my NE, Patriots of course ~they’re unbeatable hehe). But tonight, they suffered their second lost. Can you imagine they lost 2 games in a row? Whew, this is hard. But let’s admit it, P. Manning is a real good QB. They’re still even alive even they committed 5 interception.

They could have won though. If Vinatieri’s kick of the ball had went through. He has two kicks and both miss the goal. If only at least one of these kicks had gone through, they’ll win. The final score was 23 for San Diego Chargers and 21 for Indianapolis Colts.

Peyton Manning was poised to atone for those franchise-record six interceptions.

He’d moved the Indianapolis Colts well within Adam Vinatieri’s range with 1:31 left on a crazy, rainy night.

Snap, hold and … miss!

Vinatieri, who’d won two Super Bowls for New England with last-second field goals, pushed a 29-yard attempt wide right and the San Diego Chargers escaped with a wild 23-21 win over the defending Super Bowl champions on Sunday night.

“I should make that kick every time,” Vinatieri said. “There are no good excuses. I just missed it.”

Better luck next game P. Manning, hopefully your injured team mates will get healed soon. You never failed to entertain us.

Nice saturday morning

I got up around 11 this morning and felt so much better. Although my face looks big (cause of the swelling) at least it doesn’t hurt much.

By the way, Manny Pacquiao will be defending his title today and the whole family are planning to watch it. It’s different here in the States though because we have to pay, unlike in the Philippines -we can watch it for free. It’s called the pay per view and its $49.99. It hurts a little bit but its worth watching for. This is a re-match between Pacman and Antonio Barrera, Pacman bet up Barrera in 2003 and for sure Barrera wants a revenge. It’s going to be a good fight. I’ll let you know right away who won after the fight.

Update: Manny won the fight over Barrera. I almost sink in the couch when Jackie first told me that Manny lost –only to know that her hubby who relayed the info was just joking and the truth is MANNY WON. I’m going to have a heart attack with them..sus. By the way, we weren’t able to watch it live as the slots for PPV are full when Carlo called our cable provider. Thanks to Jackie for relaying me the info.
