Homesick si ako
Author: GLadys Erhardt
I feel homesick today. I miss my nanay, tatay, my bro and my nephews. Not sure if its because of the Filipino news I’m watching at youtube right now or its because I’m alone here in our house. Haaaayyy *sigh*, it’s really different when you’re used to have people around you.
I’m not sad though…just miss them. Miss their laughs and missed being with them. Hubby and I are planning to visit Phils but not that soon. Kailangang mag-ipon (we need to save) plus I want us to at least have a piece of agri land bago umuwi (before going home).
I need to prepare our dinner now, we’ll have chicken bbq, salad with asian dressing and of course rice
hehehe.

How’s my day today?
Author: GLadys Erhardt
I get up a little late today. Carlo didn’t let me get up when he was about to go to work hence my upper back is killing me again. I have this upper back pain since before and it usually hurt when I would sit in a chair without a backrest and I could not lay my back. When I was in Davao and I could feel that it’s hurting, I just usually go for a Shiatzu massage.
They do have massages in here but I don’t think I’ll get one, mahal kaayo para nako (it’s too expensive for me) especially if I’ll have one often. I don’t want to get a check up too because I’m tired of check ups
. Anyway, I received an email from Alltell today. Their company saw my resume online and they said I qualified for a Business Solution Specialist position. Not sure what work type is this but I know it’s inline with IT. I’m willing to work with any type of IT job, you know for a start up and to warm me up.
As of now, hubby and I has lots of career and school plans. He is taking his Masters right now and will get done pretty soon. I am planning to get me back to school too but I’m not sure if I’ll proceed with MS or I’ll get a Microsoft Cert. We’ll see what we’ve decided.
With regards to my duty as a wife, I’m doing pretty good (I think). I was able to get a hang of cooking, cleaning and shopping (lol). I’m a little bit versatile right now and can play around with the vegetables they have in here. I am dieting my husband right now as his cholesterol level is high. He can’t eat pork and just a lil bit of beef then lots and lots of vege salad, fruits, fish, cereals and also white meat.
I’m praying that everything will fall into its right places. I’m also hoping to be a more stronger us, more strength for any trials and I’ve always been thankful for a great husband. We’ve been married for almost 8 months now and he hasn’t change. He’s still the Carlo that I first met in Manila. We really feel that we’re soulmates. We have the same wants and needs. We’re both crazy and serious at the same time.
